Ginger Bread Houses

We have been studying the symbols of Christmas and how they are related to Christ and his birth this December.  One night we discussed ginger bread houses so of course we had to make them!  We were lucky enough to have Emi's friend over as well as cousin Jaylynne.

I don't know why Timmy insisted on decorating without his shirt but we didn't fight it.  We had five mini houses and a large Christmas tree-enough for everyone to have their own!

The kids made a huge mess-icing all over them, their clothes, the floor-but they had a fabulous time!
