The day after Timmy's birthday, my mother and grandparents came down to visit with us. Again, I LOVE having them here. It was especially nice because they got to see Terry while they were here. I like to hear my grandfather and Terry talk sports-they are so at ease with each other-as if Terry had grown up with them. We had a lovely visit. :Mostly we hung around and just talked. In the evening, we did end up going out to the beach again to see the lights which everyone enjoyed. We also watched a movie together that night. I really do wish that I was able to see my grandparents more frequently as they really are quite special to me. But I am really grateful that my children are having the opportunity to spend time with them.
We have been really blessed this Christmas season to spend so much time with both sides of our families. It has been hectic and busy, but also very special as it does not happen so often. It has definitely been a Christmas to remember!
